Maggie McEachern, LCSW

Maggie (she/her/hers) is an attachment-focused, trauma-informed licensed clinical social worker.  She is also finishing up the hours for her registered play therapist credential.  Her passions include helping people to find feelings of coziness and safety, connect with themselves and with others, and feel at ease and at home within themselves. 

Maggie has worked extensively with children, teen girls, 2e kids, autistic people of all ages, supporting individuals who are working to heal attachment wounds, and people experiencing anxiety.  She specializes in working with children under six years old. Maggie also trained as a children’s yoga teacher in Ireland and the US and incorporates mindfulness into her therapeutic work.  Maggie also incorporates expressive activities (art, sand tray, and movement) into her work with all ages.

Becc Mace,LSW

Licensed Social Worker

Becc (they/them) is a licensed social worker. They strive to create an inviting and open space allowing for people to show up exactly as they are utilizing a relational, person-centered approach. Becc values beauty in expansiveness; they also understand how systemic and generational trauma can impact individuals and community. Using an anti-oppressive, authentic, and curious lens, Becc holds space for duality, empowering each person they work with to create their own path. They are passionate about supporting others in exploring their identities and will be utilizing expressive therapeutic approaches. 

Becc has experience working with people of all ages and demographics through a trauma informed care, relational approach. They incorporate harm reduction and motivational interviewing into their strengths-based work with clients. Becc has many years of professional experience working with adults and children ranging in age from 5-16. They have completed additional training in play therapy and will be incorporating different play therapy modalities into their work.

During their free time, Becc enjoys being in community, writing poetry, water coloring, and spending quality time with their 8-pound Chihuahua Bizcocho.  In the summertime, you can likely find them swimming in large bodies of water with their chosen family or admiring a vibrant butterfly resting on thistle.

Jessica Harrington, LSW

Jessica (she/her/hers) is a licensed social worker. She is passionate about providing a safe and calming space that allows others to feel comfortable in showing up exactly as they are. She understands the importance of utilizing patience and a person-centered approach to find individualized methods that fit each client’s needs.

Jessica has experience working with people of varying identities- including neuro-divergent/ twice-exceptional children, neuro-divergent adults, and individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, relational challenges, and those seeking parenting support. Jessica utilizes a somatic and attachment-based lens incorporating nature-based therapy, art-based therapy, play therapy, DBT, internal family systems (parts work), and interpersonal neurobiology into her practice. She also finds importance in bringing awareness to somatic experiences, and incorporates mindfulness practices within her work to support those experiencing disassociation, and/or disconnections within themselves or with others. Jessica is additionally passionate about utilizing systemic and intergenerational contexts to support individuals in finding a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships with others.

In her free time, Jessica loves to listen to live music, spend time in nature, and care for her two cats and several houseplants.

Benjamin Curry, LPCC

Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate

Benjamin (he/him) believes that humans have a natural predisposition towards growth and healing, however things often show up in our lives as barriers that get in the way of that natural ability. Benjamin sees that it is his job to help identify and work through those barriers in a safe environment that is also collaborative and adapted to each individual. This is accomplished through the use of modalities such as attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, CBT/DBT, as well as all funneled through a trauma informed lens.     

Benjamin has experience working alongside child, teen, and adult clients at all different stages of their healing journey. He sees individual clients working through issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, life transition, spirituality, etc. He is passionate about working with individuals who identify with communities such as LGBTQIA+, ASD, and other marginalized groups. Benjamin is also certified to lead counseling group such as parenting skill groups and Dungeons & Dragons therapeutically applied groups. 

In his free time, Benajmin enjoys playing Magic The Gathering, D&D, and other games with friends. He also likes to read horror and fantasy novels and pet any dog that will let him!

Ilana Cohen,LSW

Licensed Social Worker

Ilana (she/her) is a Licensed Social Worker who is passionate about walking alongside individuals, families, and communities on their healing journeys. She approaches therapy from a strengths-based, relational perspective and believes healing happens through authentic connection, curiosity, and compassionate self-understanding.

Ilana has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She especially enjoys supporting neurodivergent individuals, twice-exceptional (2e) children, LGBTQIA+ clients, and those navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, identity development, and life transitions. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in presence, empathy, and collaboration, drawing from mindfulness-based practices, parts work, cognitive behavioral approaches, and relational and somatic perspectives. She is especially interested in how embodied awareness can support integration and healing from trauma.

Ilana has lived experience as a queer, Jewish, and neurodivergent woman with a long-standing practice in Buddhist and yogic contemplative traditions. She recognizes that each person’s path towards healing and meaning-making is unique, and she honors the full complexity of her clients' identities, relationships, and experiences.

Outside of her work, you can find Ilana dancing, cooking, meditating, drinking tea, exploring nature, being silly with friends, watching movies on the couch, and cuddling with her partner. She values community, creativity, play, and finding moments of joy and connection in everyday life.

Haley Bates, MSW Candidate

Graduate Student Therapist

Haley (she/her/hers) is a Master of Social Work candidate and clinical intern who is committed to creating a therapeutic space that is responsive to each individual's unique needs. She takes a strengths-based and person-centered approach to therapy to foster autonomy, resilience, and personal growth. Haley believes that every person possesses inherent strengths that can sometimes be difficult to recognize without support. She enjoys getting to know each individual's interests, values, and experiences to cultivate a space where clients feel seen, understood, and heard. Haley approaches both verbal and nonverbal communication with curiosity and intentional listening. 

Haley's passion for mental health and improving quality of life has grown through her years in supportive roles including RBT, Caregiver, and Clinical Case Manager. In these roles, she has supported children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as neurotypical individuals, across a variety of settings. Through these experiences, along with training in mindfulness and play-based therapies, Haley has developed an appreciation for the healing potential of art, play, and other expressive activities. She enjoys incorporating creativity into the therapeutic process and strives to provide an engaging, individualized path toward healing. 

Outside of clinical work, Haley enjoys reading, running, hiking, yoga, and spending time with loved ones.

Alonso Jurado Juarez, MSW Candidate

Graduate Student Therapist

Alonso Jurado is a Mexican American graduate student in the Master of Social Work program at the University of Denver. He approaches clinical work through a culturally responsive, trauma informed, and strengths based lens, with attention to the ways identity, culture, family systems, and lived experience shape mental health and well-being.

Alonso is interested in supporting families and individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, identity development, acculturation, family and cultural expectations, and barriers to care. He is especially passionate about working with immigrant, Hispanic/Latino, Spanish-speaking, and first-generation. As a trilingual speaker of Spanish, Portuguese, and English, Alonso values the role of language, culture, and trust in building meaningful therapeutic relationships.

His work is informed by behavioral, family systems, trauma informed, and strengths based approaches. Alonso aims to create a collaborative, supportive space where clients can build insight, strengthen coping skills, explore patterns, and feel more connected to themselves and others.

Before pursuing social work, Alonso studied psychology and interdisciplinary studies and spent served several years serving in the Army. These experiences inform his understanding of resilience, transition, identity, and the impact of systems on individuals and families.

Outside of his academic and clinical work, Alonso enjoys camping, fishing, spending time outdoors, and comedy. These interests reflect his appreciation for connection, grounding, balance, and the healing value of humor.
